Responsibilities

The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at New York Medical College/Westchester Medical Center is seeking a faculty candidate at the assistant or associate professor level to expand the division. The candidate must be board certified/board eligible in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine. In addition, bedside critical care ultrasound skills are expected. The candidate must demonstrate strong teaching and clinical skills. Candidates who have a special interest in sleep medicine, fellowship education, neurocritical care or adult cystic fibrosis will have avenues to pursue these interests.

Responsibilities will be on the in-patient and/or out-patient side which will include rounding in intensive care units, running a pulmonary consultative service, performing pulmonary and critical care procedures, teaching medical students, residents and fellows as well as partaking in some administrative responsibilities. Weekend call, which may involve critical care, and may be required as per the schedule approved by the Division Chief. Participation and productivity in research is expected.
