RN Registered Nurse – 6 Orthopedics - Penn State Health Holy Spirit

6 Orthopedics is a fast paced 23 bed orthopedic and trauma unit. Provide care for elective orthopedic (spine, ankle and joint replacement surgeries) and trauma patients (such as rib, spine, facial, pelvic and extremity fractures). Caring for complex patients and remote telemetry monitoring capabilities. 

The RN Registered Nurse assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. 

Active RN Registered Nurse license in the state. 

BLS required prior to orientation completion.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

Six months Orthopedics RN experience preferred.
