Operates independently-and without direct supervision as the technologist responsible for the performance and coordination of all sonographic examinations. These exams are performed with and without the use of contrast materials. The purpose of these exams is to achieve diagnostic studies for proper diagnosis and treatment. Schedules patients for examinations. Evaluates the nature of critical and emergency procedures, and rearranges patients scheduled to accommodate them.
