Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Cardiovascular Ultrasound Tech for the Vascular Lab at Morristown Medical Center to work 8m-4pm including Saturdays.
Performs all venous exams including insufficiencies, arterial studies to include duplex, bypass grafts and PVR's, abdominal duplex including renal artery, mesenteric and portals.
Will also perform hemodialysis access and vein mappings according to department protocols. .
Ability to communicate results to physicians and complete necessary paperwork.
Use vascular computer modules to document findings.
Ability to work as a team. Provides outstanding patient care
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Graduate of CAAHEP or ABHES Cardiovascular Technology program preferred
Continuing education strongly preferred
Physical and cognitive requirements: Position`s physical requirements necessitate a full range of body motion including but not limited to, physically assisting patients, requiring stretching, bending, lifting, sitting, kneeling, stooping, standing, walking, pushing and pulling.
RVT/RVS or eligible must obtain registration within one year of hire date required
CPR certification through the American Heart Association required
