 CDU - Med Surg/Ortho 

Patient Population: Ortho/Surgical unit with short stay CDU (clinical decision unit) influence. Criteria based admissions for CDU patients. 

Patient Ratios: 1:4-5 

Number of Beds: 10 

Department Specifics: Strong employee and physician engagement, 24/7 hospitalist services for patient care needs, Supportive and collaborative work environment through unit-based council and shared governance. Competitive pay rates with tuition reimbursement and bonus program based on quality initiatives.
