Phoenix Children's is seeking BC/BE fellowship trained pediatric otolaryngologists to join our team of 10 surgeons and 6 advanced practice providers. Arizona and the greater phoenix area specifically is experiencing tremendous growth and our division is the major tertiary center in region for pediatric otolaryngology, head and neck surgery problems. This has led to the need for continued expansion of our team. In addition to clinical care, the successful applicant will also have the opportunity to advance the field with clinical or basic science research endeavors and to help guide the education of the next generation of providers with teaching opportunities involving residents and medical students from three local institutions. We are the pediatric arm for the Mayo Clinic Arizona Otolaryngology Residency program and we have academic affiliations with Mayo Clinic Medical School, University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix and Creighton University Medical School.
Phoenix Children’s main campus, located in the heart of Phoenix, is a full-service, freestanding, tertiary medical center, offering 433 licensed beds, 72 of which are dedicated to intensive care and 33 of which are NICU. We are a rapidly growing healthcare system, including: the state’s only Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center; a full-range of specialty services, including orthopedics, neurosciences, cardiovascular services, neonatology, and cancer and blood disorders; and a depth of high acuity specialties including heart, liver, kidney, bone marrow and stem cell transplantation.
